Burundi - Kayanza Giku {Espresso}

Kayanza sits in Burundi's north, where Bourbon has been grown for generations at the Giku washing station. The region sits high enough that the growing season slows, concentrating sugars and building complexity in the cherry before it's ever picked. Smallholder farmers deliver to Giku, where the coffee is washed and carefully dried. The result is a cup with notes of blackberry, vanilla and dark chocolate.
